The distillery runs on 100% renewable electricity, 38% carbon savings through renewable and low carbon energy, an EPC rating of ‘A’ – CO2 Index of 14 and building related Carbon Emissions less than 4kgCO2/m2.
Sustainability is vitally important to Bombay Sapphire at Laverstoke Mill. The company follows the Bacardi “Good Spirited” global sustainability initiative which strives to improve sustainability within three main areas: responsible sourcing, global packaging and operational efficiencies.

Fiscal Year 2023: 54% of key raw materials are sourced from sustainably certified suppliers, 97% of paper and board used for shipping and labels are sustainably certified. 99% of primary packaging is recyclable. 32% of product packaging is made from recycled content.

FY23 99.23% of waste from factories was diverted from landfill. 63% reduction of single-use plastic in POSM and secondary packaging vs. 2020. Water use efficiency index was 0.7% better than FY22, an overall improvement of 9.7% from FY15.

In 2023, 2,200 bartenders took part in Italy. Also, guidelines were shared with 10,000 people at trade shows, during courses and online activities, and at over 1,200 Campari events.
The Academy offers a complete bartending and bar management programme, suitable for both professionals and enthusiasts. Courses include responsible serving, responsible serving guidelines and sustainability behind the bar.
