21 October 2023: The event took place in 35 nightclubs in 32 cities with 700 volunteers. 2,000 people became designated driver. Of these 1,650 were breathalysed.
The European Night without Accident is run on the third Saturday of October every year. Young volunteers, located outside of nightclubs encourage groups of young people to designate a driver who will not consume any alcohol.

The number of road fatalities in Poland, including for drink-driving, reduced from 5,583 in 2007 down to 2938 in 2015.
The campaign brought together young people, police force, night economy premises to fight against drink-driving.

500 drivers (with 0.0% alcohol blood) in total were awarded during in 17 actions made across Portugal. 4,000 flyers were printed for the ROADPOL week.
Running since 2002, the campaign aims at reducing the number of alcohol–related deaths among the 18-30 year olds.

In 2025, The BOB campaign reached 1,709,367 visitors at festivals and events across the Netherlands. A total of 18,503 breath tests were carried out and 8,572 designated driver agreements were made.

Since launch the programme has reached over 300,000 young drivers and rewarded more than 20,000 designated drivers who demonstrated that they were sober (0 BAC level).
